I began the year sad, lost and afraid. And, now here I am 12 months later smiling, excited and pensive.
I am thankful for the new friends I made this year. The old friends I left behind. Old friendships that have become stronger during testing times. Not everything is perfect, not everything goes the way we would wish it too, but today I only have time to be thankful. I've made my choice, I chose to be happy.
2011 was a year of lessons. Difficult, but valuable, for me at least.
